Introduction to Commissioned labor job in Yunlin Second Prison

Yunlin Second Prison takes commissioned labor job to train inmates in employable skills and to cultivate a hardworking habit, thereby supporting their successful reintegration into society upon release.

Currently, the prison offers commissioned labor job in the following categories:

• Paper Processing: Including paper bag production and joss paper processing
• Machinery Processing: Such as lanyard and fabric clip assembly
• Handicrafts & Assembly: Including plastic clip assembly and pipe component assembly
• Metalworking: Including door latch and torsion component processing
• Sewing

We accept commissioned production of various finished and semi-finished goods from external manufacturers.

Operating Hours:
Commissioned labor job is conducted from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding time allocated for meals, showers, medical appointments, visitations, and educational or recreational activities. The effective daily working time is approximately 3 to 4 hours.
